SCHOOL REOPEN IN HAITI

HELP US BUILT A NEW SCHOOL IN HAITI

Some schools reopened in the wrecked Haitian capital on Monday nearly three months after the January 12 earthquakes, but others could not beacuse of lack of repairs or equipment, say staff Jean Antoine Orneus, field Director of Little Piece of Heaven foundation.
The education ministry, backed by the United Nations children's agency UNICEF, had called for classes to resume 12 weeks after the quakes which reduced many parts of the city to rubble and destroyed or damaged more than 4,000 schools. The education ministry itself was also destroyed.
but while some schools, many private, were able to reopen using donated tents as classrooms, others remained close or turned students away because their premise were not yet repaired. Overall figures for how many schools had restarted were not immediately available.
So our foundation Little Piece of Heaven, we are doing all we can to rebuilt a new school buildings instead of tents for classrooms. Please donate whatever you can so by next year we can have a nice building for the students. visit us at http://www.lphf.org/

Little Piece of Heaven Kids Project

LPHF is creating a cultural exchange project set up by us, to help kids' cinema unit to Haiti. Children in Haiti affected by the earthquakes are experiencing untold damage and despair. Further anxiety grows through inaction, loneliness and boredom. LPHF contributes to quality of life through projecting films - creating, sharing, forging friendships, connections and delighting in film.
